Gildale Standard Grade Pellets
Our Premium Pellets contain the right wood mixture to produce very high heat with little ash. The premium fuel pellets are made exclusively from kiln dried sawdust containing a mixture of softwood and hardwood. This material source ensures that there is no bark in the pellets to minimize the ash content and reduces pellet stove maintenance and cleaning.
Spruce Pointe pellets are a softwood premium pellet containing virgin spruce, pine, and fir woods. In addition to our own production, Gildale Farms is a distributor for Spruce Pointe made by Vanderwell, in Alberta. These pellets are extremely low ash and high energy content. Once compressed and extruded into pellet form, softwood pellets have the same density as hardwood pellets and therefore create comparable if not greater heat then hardwood due to the resins in the wood.
Our standard grade fuel pellets are a great economy choice for pellet boilers, furnaces and some multi-fuel stoves. Standard grade pellets are made with a mix of clean recycled wood from non-use skids and pallets as well as virgin sawdust and bark.
